ctrl + I

ctrl + I is a method you can use when you want to intersect a few shapes to make it one whole shape in one solid colour. After you have done that and wait 10 to 15 seconds it will change into a different shape.

For example : on the weekend I was trying to make an endless cone fidget toy on Tinkercad. I came across a part where i had to intersect, I tried and tried but it wasn’t working. Some of the times it took me to a different tab, others it would turn into a pencil shape! After countless attempts I realised it was as simple as grouping 3 of the shapes I had forgot to group to group earlier. Then hitting ctrl I on my keyboard. Thankfully it worked!

frustration

how to deal with frustration

when modelling frustration is the last thing you want as you could be so angry
that you may damage your device in anger ( you may think that is a bit unrealistic but trust me modelling is stressful and annoying when your new to it). Or worse you could ruin your model after putting hours of hard work into it.

When i made a mistake i started getting unreasonably angry and thinking why does
Tinkercad have to be so hard and glitchy. After i solved the problem taught myself a
lesson – “it is rarely the software it is you.” ( obviously it is sometimes the software
but now days there is barely ever a mistake in software modelling apps).Meaning that it
may be a tiny obvious mistake that your not looking at, or a lapse in concentration.

Main lesson : pay attention to everything and stay patient.
